The Equity Committee recognizes the inequities that Aboriginal people face in society and hosts the Story Tellers Gala every November to address these equity issues.
The Story Tellers Gala brings students, faculty, staff, and community members together to discuss a variety of issues that impact Aboriginal people including, but not limited to: racism, loss of culture and language, land rights and title, unequal economic development, and environmental degradation.
