Join the TRUSU Equity Committee for an International Beer Tasting and Seminar on March 16 from 6 – 9 PM in the TRU Grand Hall!

Come sample 10 international and craft beers from around the world with paired appetizers,  and participate in 5 beer seminars in order to gain a deeper appreciation for the diversity of international beer cultures.

If you’ve ever wondered about:

  • The difference between Lagers, Stouts, or Ales?
  • Why does rice beer taste different than barley beer?
  • Why does Germany have such an intense beer culture?
  • How can I find quality craft beers like the professionals?

Then this event is for you!

Your $20 ticket allows you to join local craft brewing experts from Red Beard Café in 5 seminars as they break down the intricacies of beer styles, beer production, and beer culture, and allows you to taste 10 significant beer styles from around the world with paired appetizers.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased in person at the Member’s Services Desk in the Students’ Union Building. Please note that this event is ages 19+ and 2 pieces of ID are required for access. Due to ordering requirements, advance ticket purchase is necessary and no tickets are available at the door.
