On November 23rd, 2017, the TRUSU Lean In – Leadership for Gender Equality Club invites the Kamloops community to obtain a Certificate of Training for Advocacy and Implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals from the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship. Keynote speakers include UN Representative, Senior Policy Analyst, The Hunger Project’s Mary Kate Costello – a specialist in community-led development. As well as, Steve Lee, a Top 30 Under 30 in Sustainability (Corporate Knights) who was personally trained by Al Gore. Coffee and dessert will be provided. Seating is limited. All ages are welcome!

Attendees who are youth under thirty & registered in Canadian post-secondary institutions can enter to WIN a UN Experience of a lifetime including training, travel, accommodation, and a UN badge as an NGO delegate to the United Nations Headquarters in March 2018.
