But for many students\, unreliable transportation\, long travel times\, and limited transit options can make simply getting to class a challenge. \nPublic transit connects students to more than just campus. It provides access work\, healthcare\, and community life. The way transit systems are designed\, from route planning and service frequency to pricing and infrastructure\, can determine whether transit is a convenient choice or a barrier to opportunity. \nDrop by Student Street in Old Main from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and chat with the TRUSU Community Affairs Committee about how transit decisions are made\, what creates an accessible transit system\, and how transportation shapes the student experience in Kamloops. \nDiscover how reliable\, accessible transit can remove barriers\, explore the current state of transit access\, and help build a better understanding of how transportation connects students to education and community.
