Join the TRU Dean of Science, Gregory Anderson, and the Executive Director of Student Development at TRU, Sara Wolfe, for a small group discussion around your experiences as an international student on campus on Wednesday, Jan. 26 between 1 and 2:30 p.m. PST. This discussion is part of the TRU Students’ Union’s Breaking Bread series to connect small groups of students with community leaders to share perspectives, foster connections, and build community.

This discussion is different from the other events in this series. Rather than bringing an expert on this topic, we are inviting you as international students to come to share your experiences and have senior members of the TRU community attend to listen and learn. Given this format, this discussion is only open to international students or alumni.

This discussion will cover a wide area of topics based on participants’ interests. Topics may include:

• What has been your experience as an international student at TRU and in Kamloops?
• Are there gaps that you have noticed in services or accommodations?
• Are there areas that you think TRU is doing exceptionally well in welcoming international students?
• And other questions based on interest!
