On Wednesday, August 12 from 1pm-2pm join CBC’s Doug Herbert for a discussion on The Role of Media in 2020! This is part of the TRU Students’ Union’s Breaking Bread series to connect small groups of students with community leaders to share perspectives, foster connections, and build community.

This virtual discussion will consider topics including how media has covered global issues in 2020, perceptions of media and bias, the challenges and opportunities of journalism as a career today, and other topics based on your interests.
