DESCRIPTION:Do you ever feel like no matter how carefully you plan your money just doesn’t stretch far enough? Are you trying to find a balance between paying bills\, enjoying student life\, and saving for the future? Do you wonder how other students are making it work? Come be a voice in the conversation about money\, sharing what’s worked\, what hasn’t\, and the everyday realities of managing finances as a student.  \nOn Wednesday\, March 18\, 2026\, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm\, join the TRUSU Campaigns Committee for pizza and an open discussion centered around financial literacy. We’ll share stories about the realities of budgeting\, loans\, credit\, and saving and talk honestly about the challenges of managing finances while studying in Kamloops. Whether you’re figuring things out for the first time or have hard-won lessons to share\, we want your perspective in the conversation!  \nThis discussion is part of the TRU Students’ Union Breaking Bread Series which strives to create a space for students and local community leaders to come together over a shared meal\, discuss contemporary issues\, share perspective and create community.
