Introduction To Sexualized Violence Prevention And Response for Clubs
TRUSU is committed to offering members with the skills and knowledge they require to successfully operate their clubs. These trainings offer club leaders and members the opportunity to build their skills and credentials, network with other members, and explore important topics as they pertain to equity, campus community wellness, and club operations.
In this 90 minute session will provide the necessary training for Sexualized Violence Prevention as presented by the TRUSU Equity Committee and hosted over Zoom. This training will work with the definition of consent, explore consent and boundaries, and provide members with the information required to navigate situations of harm. This training will explore what means to be an active bystander and offer members with information on how to prevent sexualized violence on campus. Additionally, it will provide information on how to support to fellow members who have experienced, or are experiencing, sexualized violence.
All clubs are required to send at least one member to represent their club at this meeting.
