The student experience is shaped by decisions made across the post-secondary system\, but it isn’t always clear who is responsible for what.  \nWho decides what students pay? Who decides what supports are available? Who makes choices about transportation\, housing\, and the resources students rely on every day? \nWhat role do different decision-makers play within the post-secondary system? And how can students understand where to bring their questions\, concerns\, and ideas? \nDrop by Student Street in Old Main from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to chat with the TRUSU Community Affairs Committee and learn how decisions are made\, who is involved\, and where to direct your questions\, concerns\, and ideas. \nBring your questions\, find out who has the answers\, and discover how the decisions shaping your student experience actually get made!

DESCRIPTION:Post-secondary education is more expensive than ever. Between tuition\, textbooks\, and the rising cost of living\, many students face difficult choices when it comes to stretching their budget. At TRUSU\, we believe that no student should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from while working toward their education. \nThat’s why we’re helping make healthy\, home-cooked meals more accessible through our Chef’s Package Program. Once a month\, TRUSU provides free chef’s packages filled with ingredients to prepare a nutritious and delicious meal at home. \nJoin us on the second Wednesday of every month starting at 10:00 a.m. inside the TRUSU Building\, where the TRUSU Services Committee will be handing out free chef’s packages to TRU students. \nSupplies are limited and packages are available on a first-come\, first-served basis\, so be sure to stop by early to pick up yours. \nHappy cooking—and bon appétit!
