A short bio on each presenter:

Kennedy Aberdeen

Kennedy Aberdeen is a third year BBA student with a major in Accounting and a Minor in Theatre. She is a Supplemental Learning Leader and a Study Abroad Ambassador, as well as the Founder and President of TRUs Pre-law Society.

Samantha Baker

Samantha Baker is a 4th year student in the Bachelor of Arts program; she’s majoring in Sociology & minoring in English.
Besides her involvement at TRU in the Orientation department, Samantha volunteers at Aberdeen Elementary school in a Montessori grade 1-3 class and is the VP of public relations and membership at her local toastmasters club. As an aspiring elementary school educator she’s learning to make education fun and engaging.

Yasir Khan

A graduate student from Pakistan, undertaking a Master of Education. Yasir is a competitive public speaker who has a keen interest in the realm of personal development. His ultimate goal is to inspire others become the truest and most authentic versions of themselves.
