Having Food Safe Level 1 certification will increase your chances of getting a job as a cook, a server or a baker. You may even find opportunities in a delicatessen. Join us on Saturday, March 19, 2021 for everything you need to get your Food Safe Level 1 certification.
Workshop Outline:
This daylong workshop will cover important food safety and labour safety information, including food-borne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning, and sanitization. Following the workshop, you will get your Food Safe Level 1 certificate after a short knowledge test.
Who should attend?
If you are interested in working in a kitchen or any food service role, you should consider attending this workshop. Proof of double vaccination and personal identification are required for all adults to attend our in-person workshop under the Provincial Health Order.
Registration and Fees:
We can only offer 20 spots, so don’t miss your chance and register today. We will cover the cost of in-person instruction, exam fees, and supplies (valued at $100 per participant).
Light refreshments, coffee, and lunch will be provided to attendees. We are charging a non-refundable commitment fee of $10 to ensure a better experience for everyone involved.
