This daylong workshop will cover important food safety and worker safety information including food-borne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning, and sanitization. Following the workshop, you will get your Food Safe Level 1 certificate after a short knowledge test. Following the workshop, you’ll be eligible to meet prospective employers who are interested in hiring students for part-time jobs in food service roles. Please remember to bring your resumes.
