If you’re a prospective medical school student or if you’ve considered becoming a doctor, join us on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 for an information session to learn everything you need to know about applying to the Southern Medical Program at UBC Medical School.
The session will cover information about the UBC Medical School, the minimum admission requirements as well as important dates and deadlines to keep in mind, information about how to submit your application, the general cost of the medical school, best practices for medical school applications, TRU Alumni currently attending the UBC Medical School talking about their experience, and a Q&A session.
Who should attend?
The UBC Faculty of Medicine considers applicants from a variety of backgrounds and gives no preference to any particular degree program. You should attend this session if you are interested in becoming a doctor, regardless of your current program of studies.
How to attend?
The event is free but spaces are limited. To create a better experience for everyone we are asking you to register below. Registration will close when we have reached capacity or on Oct. 27, 2021 — whichever happens first. You will receive the link to participate in the event to your email by Nov. 1, 2021.
We believe that attending events with friends is an invaluable experience of attending university. Given the current operating conditions in the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are addressing the need for safe and accessible activities by hosting a series of workshops and games nights.
