How will you open: Sicilian Defense, Caro-Kann, or with everyone’s recent favourite — the Queen’s Gambit?
Join us virtually for TRUSU Chess Night on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021 at 6 p.m. PST. Students will take turns playing other students in groups. We will group students in different breakout groups and provide a Zoom video chat, so that you can hang out while you play. All levels of proficiency are welcome to participate, ranging from beginner to expert.
If you have never played before – don’t worry! We will have a short tutorial at the start of the evening to go over rules and game play.
Create an account on chess.com and play from your computer (recommended) or the download the most updated version of “Chess – Play and Learn” from Chess.com from the Appstore or the Google Play Store on your phone.
Join the chess game this week as a participant on the Zoom login screen (details below). Just a friendly reminder, you will need a different device for Zoom if you are playing from your phone.
To create a better experience for everyone and to reserve your free lucky tickets, we are asking you to complete the registration form below.
