How will you open – Sicilian Defense, Caro-Kann, or with everyone’s recent favourite – the Queen’s Gambit?
Join us virtually for TRUSU Chess Night on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 6:00 PM. Students will take turns playing with other students in groups. We will group students in different breakout groups and provide a zoom video chat so you can hang out while you play. All levels welcome. If you are new to Chess – worry not! We will have a short tutorial at the start of the evening to help you learn. Plus, we’ll be giving away prizes (to registered TRU students) worth up to 300 dollars!
Rumor has it that at the end of the Night, the TRU champion will play an exhibition game against the powerful player from the popular series the Queen’s Gambit – Beth Harman.
