DESCRIPTION:Swimming is not only a great way to stay healthy and fit—it’s also a vital life skill\, especially in a place like Kamloops\, home to over 100 lakes and rivers just an hour’s drive away. \nMany students at TRU want to enjoy these outdoor water activities—but not everyone knows how to swim. That’s why the TRUSU Services Committee has partnered with the Canada Games Aquatic Centre to offer Learn-to-Swim lessons exclusively for TRU students! \nSession Outline:\nThe February Learn-to-Swim Session will be a 5-weeks long (10-lessons) program and will cover the basics of swimming and pool safety protocols.
