DESCRIPTION:Get ready\, TRU — the carnival is coming to campus! Seriously\, we’re talking about an actual Carnival! \nOn the last day of Classes – Tuesday\, April 14\, 2026\, join us for the first ever TRUSU Carnival featuring amusement rides (ferris wheel and mega drop)\, food trucks\, live music\, and more! This event is open to everyone. Event admission is free. Rides are $10 for two rides and must be purchased in advance.   \nThe event runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. \n  \nAmusement Ride Pass Instructions:\n\nEach person riding the ride must at least be 106 cm (42 inches / 3.5 ft) tall and no more than 300 pounds (136 kg).\nA ride pass ($10) must be purchased in advance to access the rides.\nEach pass includes two tickets.\nOne ticket = One ride.\nYou may ride the same ride twice or each ride once.\nPasses are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Join us for a community conversation about how these changes are shaping life at Thompson Rivers University and what kind of campus we want to build moving forward.  \nOn Wednesday\, April 15\, 2026\, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm\, join the TRUSU Campaigns Committee for pizza and an open discussion centered around how recent changes to Canadian post-secondary education are impacting campus life. Together\, we’ll share our experiences and perspectives on the evolving realities at TRU\, reflect on the challenges we’re facing\, and discuss what support and advocacy feel most meaningful right now.
