For over a year the City of Kamloops has been developing an exciting new vision for the downtown of our community. They have been hosting workshops, sharing concepts with the community, and listening to feedback to develop a 20 year plan for the downtown area.

“We have been really impressed with the community engagement work being done by the City of Kamloops on this project,” said Kole Lawrence, Vice President External. “Students have been contributing their ideas and engaging in the development of this plan for over a year and are looking forward to seeing the final draft.”

Join your Students’ Union in attending a community workshop to give the city feedback on their draft downtown plan on Thursday, November 21 from 7-9pm.

“This workshop is a great opportunity for students to learn about and provide input on the major projects being envisioned for the downtown of our community,” said Kole Lawrence. “Students are a growing part of Kamloops and we are excited to facilitate their participation.”
