Are you interested in learning about the operation of unique services like the Health and Dental plan, UPass, and Food Bank? Then we have a great opportunity for you.   

The Thompson Rivers University Students’ Union is looking to fill the position of Services Committee Representative on the TRUSU Board of Directors. The Services Committee Representative is a member of the Services Committee that is responsible for the implementation the TRUSU annual services plan and is a member of the TRUSU Board of Directors responsible for overseeing the entire Union. Successful applicants should expect to attend a weekly Services Committee meeting and bi-weekly Board of Directors meetings. You can find a schedule of all Board Meetings for the upcoming term here. Do not apply for this position if you are unable to attend Board Meetings.  

This position has an approximate time commitment of ten (10) hours per week and is eligible to receive bi-weekly honoraria. 

Application Details

Applications will be accepted online until July 30 at 4:00 PM. The successful candidate will be appointed at the August 11 Board of Directors meeting and their term will run from August 12 until April 30th, 2021. Successful candidates should be available to complete a scheduled Board of Directors Orientation and Committee Orientation (approximately 4 hrs) after their appointment.
