Are you looking to get involved on campus this year? Join the Student Caucus to serve your community through participating on a decision-making body in TRU’s governance system!  

The Union is currently seeking volunteers to serve in student representative positions on university committees. Student Caucus members are provided the opportunity to work alongside faculty, staff, and administrators to make changes on student issues and contribute to important campus decision-making. Student representatives are provided regular trainings, informational briefings, unique consultation opportunities, and working sessions to assist them in developing their skills and participating on their select committee. Student Caucus members are often leaders in positive change on campus: working together to create submissions, build partnerships, and request changes on behalf of TRU.  

The positions hold a term of October 01, 2023 to September 30, 2024. In order to be eligible for a position students must be able to attend both of the following:  

• Mandatory Student Caucus Orientation on Saturday, September 30, 2024, from 10:00am – 4:00pm 
• Mandatory monthly Student Caucus Gatherings on Wednesday’s 6:00pm – 7:30pm
