We are excited to kick off the 2018 – 2019 year with a bang. We have such a great crew of students who are excited to get down to work for the members over the next year! From April 30 – May 02, 2018 TRUSU Board and Committee Members met for their annual orientation. This allowed the nineteen members of the Board of Directors and fifteen volunteer committee members to spend time building a team by getting to know each other and familiarizing themselves with the Students’ Union.
Since then, the Campaigns, Entertainment, Equity, Services, and University Affairs committees have been meeting regularly to plan events, activities, and initiatives for the year ahead. This planning process will continue until July 15 when committees will present their plans to the Board of Directors for approval so they can get to work on implementation. If you have any ideas for things you would like to see happen this year please feel free to contact your Students’ Union representatives or staff.
