TRUSU Adventure Movie Nights are hosted each fall and winter semester. These movie nights are filled with thrill and excitement. These movies nights also serve as a fundraiser to support students in the TRU Adventure Program and other adventure related activities in the Kamloops region.
Fall Semester Movie Night:
Leading up to the start of ski season at Sun Peaks Resort, the Student’s Union partners with the Sun Peaks Freestyle Club to host a ski themed movie night. Proceeds from ticket sales are shared to support programming at the Sun Peaks Freestyle Club and to fund financial award for students in TRU Adventure Program.
Winter Semester Movie Night:
In the winter semester the Students’ Union hosts a climbing themed movie night supported by the Cliffside Climbing Gym Kamloops. Each year we screen the latest films from Reel Rock and proceeds from ticket sales are donated to TRU Foundation to fund financial award for students in the TRU Adventure Program.
