The TRUSU Chefs Package Program at TRU (Thompson Rivers University) aims to tackle food insecurity among students. As education costs rise, students struggle to afford food along with other expenses. This program provides customized chefs packages to students on a monthly basis, free of charge. Each package includes ingredients and a recipe for at least two healthy home-cooked meals. The program has already supported numerous students and continues to assist more each year.
