On Friday, March 07, 2025, in celebration of International Women’s Day, we proudly recognized a group of exceptional women from our campus whose leadership and dedication continue to inspire our community. This year’s celebration not only highlighted their individual achievements but also emphasized the importance of community; each honouree selected a local organization to receive a donation on their behalf.
Throughout the event, we were introduced to each honouree’s unique journey that led them to TRU and heard directly from the women about why the organization they chose holds personal significance. It was a truly memorable event that connected us across campus with organizations throughout Kamloops and the surrounding areas.
