Swimming is not only a great way to stay healthy and fit—it’s also a vital life skill, especially in a place like Kamloops, home to over 100 lakes and rivers just an hour’s drive away.
Many students at TRU want to enjoy these outdoor water activities—but not everyone knows how to swim. That’s why the TRUSU Services Committee has partnered with the Canada Games Aquatic Centre to offer Learn-to-Swim lessons exclusively for TRU students!
Session Outline:
The January Learn-to-Swim Session will be a 5-weeks long (10-lessons) program and will cover the basics of swimming and pool safety protocols. The program starts on January 05th and runs until February 05th in the Canada Games Aquatic Centre within the Tournament Capital Centre.
