2026 Kamloops Municipal Election
The 2026 Municipal Election is your opportunity to help shape the future of Kamloops. Local government makes decisions about transit, housing, recreation, climate action, public safety, and many other issues that affect students every day. Whether you’re voting for the first time or have voted before, every vote helps shape the community where you live, learn, and work.
Voting
Who Can Vote
You can vote if:

- are a Canadian citizen*
- are 18 years of age or older on general voting day
- have live in British Columbia for at least six months
- bring two pieces of identification on election day
at least one must show your signature, and a least one must show your address.
