On October 20, 2018, the City of Kamloops is holding an election for mayor, eight City Council positions, and school trustees. Decisions made at the municipal level directly impact students in our day-to-day lives, from determining transit and transportation priorities, to providing essential services such as clean water and waste disposal, to planning economic growth for the future. What do you believe in? What issues matter to you? By voting you can help decide what the future of our city will look like!

The TRU Students’ Union’s objective for the upcoming municipal election is to help students to have all of the information that they need to make an informed decision at the polls this fall. On this page you can find video interviews and contact information for local candidates to help you get to know them and their priorities, as well as all the voting information you need to know where and how to vote.
