The TRUSU Equity Committee invites you to join us in taking action for human rights through the Write for Rights Campaign, an initiative by Amnesty International — a global movement of over 10 million people who stand up for justice, freedom, truth, and dignity. Amnesty International works independently of political, economic, or religious interests to defend individuals whose human rights are under threat anywhere in the world.
Each year, Write for Rights unites millions of people across the globe to write letters calling on governments to right injustices, free wrongfully imprisoned individuals, and protect human rights defenders. These letters have real impact — people have been released from prison, achieved justice, and felt global solidarity during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Equity Solidarity Work
This campaign is part of TRUSU’s Equity Solidarity Work Program, which supports the initiatives of organizations advancing global equity and justice. Through this program, we aim to raise awareness, inspire action, and amplify the impact of movements that work toward human rights and systemic change.
Write a letter, take action, and change a life. Together, we can make a difference through collective support and solidarity.
