The Union is currently seeking students to serve in vacant student representative positions across advisory, academic, and faculty-based university committees. Now is your chance to join the Student Caucus and get paid up to serve your community by contributing to TRU’s governance!
Student Caucus members are leaders in impacting change on campus: working alongside faculty, staff, and administrators to make important decisions, submit proposals, and request improvements on behalf of TRU. To ensure representatives receive support in their role on a decision-making body, Student Caucus members attend regular trainings, receive informational updates about key university activities, and represent their peers in campus consultations.

Selected candidates will serve a term of October 01, 2026 to September 30, 2027. Representatives are eligible for up to 80 hours of paid honouraria per year attending regular university committee meetings, gatherings, and activities of the Student Caucus. To be eligible for a position, students must be able to attend the following:
- Mandatory Student Caucus Orientation on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, from 10:00am – 4:00pm
- Mandatory monthly Student Caucus Gatherings on Wednesday’s 6:00pm – 7:30pm
