Do you know an exceptional woman at TRU? Someone who inspires others, goes above and beyond for their community, or shows leadership in big or small ways. Now’s your chance to recognize her!
The Women of TRU program celebrates and highlights seven incredible women from across our campus community each year. These women might be students, staff, or faculty; anyone who has shown incredible leadership and made an impact in their community.
Each honouree is featured through a profile that shares their story, their impact, and what leadership means to them. It’s a chance to shine a light on the women who are making a real difference on campus and beyond through mentorship, advocacy, or care for others.
To make this recognition even more meaningful, each honouree also chooses a local non-profit organization that receives a donation from TRUSU in their name. It’s a small way we extend the celebration beyond TRU and give back to the broader community.
So, if someone immediately comes to mind – a classmate, a professor, or a staff member whose leadership has left an impression on you – take a few minutes to nominate them!
