About the Program
Strong communities are built through collaboration, shared understanding, and meaningful relationships.
Beyond the Ballot creates opportunities for student representatives to meet one-on-one with community leaders, organizations, and partners throughout the year. These conversations provide space to exchange perspectives, learn about community priorities, and explore opportunities for collaboration between campus and the broader community.
Through these meetings, Beyond the Ballot helps to:
- Create stronger connections between student representatives and community leaders.
- Provide opportunities for organizations to share information, initiatives, and perspectives with campus.
- Identify areas where campus and community partners can work together.
- Support a more informed understanding of the experiences and priorities shaping our community on campus.
