Campaigns Committee Executive
The Campaigns Committee Executive’s primary responsibility is facilitating and reporting on the work of the Campaigns Committee. The Campaigns Committee Executive works with the Campaigns Coordinator to provide leadership for a team of students to plan weekly committee meetings, respond to media requests, and engage in extensive campus outreach. The Campaigns Committee is responsible for planning and implementing the Intergenerational Housing, Industry Connect, Deals Discount, Students Vote, Breaking Bread, Campus Legal Clinics, and Volunteer programs of the Student Union. They also serve as the provincial executive representative to the BC Federation of Students

This includes the Back to School BBQ, Welcome Breakfast, Outdoor Movie Night, Winterfest Carnival, Common Voices Lecture Series, Adventure Movie Nights, Games Nights, and the Last Class Bash

The Accessibility Representative ensures that the valuable perspective and interests of persons with accessibility issues are represented in the Board of Directors. They are a member of the Equity Committee and are responsible for planning and implementing the Amnesty Urgent Actions, EDI Lecture Series, Campus Clothing Exchange, Equity Trainings & Solidarity Work, Pride Parade, ReconciliACTION, and Women of TRU programs of the Student Union.

The Indigenous Representative ensures that the valuable perspective and interests of the Aboriginal, First Nations, and Métis constituency are represented in the Board of Directors. They are a member of the Equity Committee and are responsible for planning and implementing the Amnesty Urgent Actions, EDI Lecture Series, Campus Clothing Exchange, Equity Trainings & Solidarity Work, Pride Parade, ReconciliACTION, and Women of TRU programs of the Student Union.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, and Queer (LGBTQ) Students’ Representative ensures that the valuable perspectives and interests of the LGBTQ community are represented in the Board of Directors.
