Our club is grounded in two pillars: (1) Mental Health & the Legal Profession; We promote the wellbeing of law students and future legal professionals, foster connection, and create opportunities for open dialogue about mental health in law school and legal practice. (2) Mental Health & Legal Advocacy; We explore the relationship between mental health and the legal system, including trauma-informed lawyering, therapeutic jurisprudence, and the experiences of individuals with mental health disabilities. We aim to equip law students with practical skills to understand how mental health, cultural awareness, identity, and intersecting experiences can shape client communication, engagement, and individual needs, while promoting compassionate, client-centered approaches to legal practice, advocacy, and access to justice.
