Breaking Bread: Mental Health Supports

Breaking Bread

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by academic pressure and personal expectations? Have you struggled with stress, anxiety, or burnout? Have you experienced difficulty accessing mental health resources? Felt hesitant to reach out due to stigma or uncertainty? Are there gaps in mental health services that you believe need addressing at TRU or in Kamloops? We want to hear your story.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm join the TRUSU Campaigns Committee and community stakeholders to discuss the challenges students face, share stories of resilience, and build a collective understanding of what meaningful mental health support looks like at TRU.

This discussion is part of the TRU Students’ Union Breaking Bread Series, which strives to connect small groups of students and community leaders to have lunch, share perspectives, foster connections, and build community and discuss contemporary issues.

If you are interested in joining this discussion, sign up below! Spaces are limited and registration is first come first served.
