What does authenticity mean in a world where AI can create alongside us? How do we feel about using these tools in our studies, art, or everyday lives? What possibilities, or worries, come up when we think about the future alongside AI? Join us for an open conversation about our experiences, questions, and ideas around AI, originality, and what it means to learn and create in changing times.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, join the TRUSU Campaigns Committee for pizza and an open discussion centered around AI. Together, we’ll share how we’re engaging with AI in our work and learning, explore our hopes and concerns about its influence, and reflect on how technology shapes our creative, academic, and personal lives. We want you to share your experiences, perspectives, and questions about what it means to live, learn and create alongside intelligent technology!
This discussion is part of the TRU Students’ Union Breaking Bread Series, which brings together intimate groups of students, TRU Community members, and community leaders over lunch to exchange ideas, forge meaningful connections, and explore the issues that matter most to our generation.
Spaces are limited, and registration is first come first served. Reserve your spot below now!
