Join us for the 16th annual TRUSU Pride Parade as we celebrate, strengthen community, and demonstrate our shared commitment to creating a campus where 2SLGBTQIA+ students, staff, faculty, and allies feel safe, respected, welcomed, and seen. Pride is more than a celebration. It is an opportunity to recognize the ongoing contributions, resilience, and diversity of 2SLGBTIA+ communities while reaffirming our commitment to equity, belonging, and community.
The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. with our Pride Resource Fair, featuring campus services and Kamloops community organizations that support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Stop by to discover local resources, connect with organizations, and learn about the services and opportunities available throughout the year. While you’re there, stop by our Pride photo booth to capture the day with friends and show off your favourite Pride outfit.
At 11:00 a.m., the parade officially begins as campus and community leaders welcome the crowd and help build excitement for the celebration ahead. Then, together, we’ll make our way around campus in a vibrant Pride parade, celebrating inclusion, visibility, and community while showing our collective support for a campus where everyone belongs.
