INTRO TO POWERLIFTING

We will begin with a short presentation that explains what to expect at a powerlifting competition, including rules, structure, and basic meet etiquette. This will help participants feel confident and prepared before ever stepping onto the platform.

After the presentation, I will lead a hands-on session where, with the help of my coach Jordan, we will teach and demonstrate the three main powerlifting lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Each lift will be broken down step by step, focusing on proper technique, safety, and correct form so everyone can learn in a supportive and encouraging environment.

To wrap up the event, there will be an open Q&A where participants can ask any questions about training, competing, or getting started in powerlifting. We will also be providing healthy snacks at the end as a small thank-you for attending and to promote good nutrition alongside strong training habits.
