Post-secondary education can get expensive with high tuition costs, expensive textbooks, and rising inflation. At TRUSU, we believe that no student should have to face food insecurity while striving for their academic goals. To address food insecurity on campus and reduce the financial burden on students, we will give away customized chef’s package to students once every month.
On the second Wednesday of each month, the TRUSU Services Committee will be hosting a table to giving away free chef’s packages to students at TRU. The event will start at 10:00 am inside the TRUSU building. Each package has enough ingredients to cook healthy home-cooked and delicious meals.
