Bill Sundhu is a Kamloops-based lawyer and former provincial judge with 40 years of experience in human rights and criminal justice. A graduate of Oxford’s International Human Rights Law program and listed counsel at the International Criminal Court, he has worked extensively with minority and Indigenous communities and is a frequent commentator on justice and human rights issues.
Dr. Rick McCutcheon is an anthropologist, educator, and longtime peace and conflict studies scholar with over 40 years of experience in universities and NGOs. His work has focused on global conflict, human rights, and large-scale violence, including time spent in Iraq during and after the war. He is a former Academic Dean at multiple Canadian universities and a co-author of several influential works on peace and reconciliation.
Hosted by the Thompson Rivers University Human Rights and Social Justice Club, this event aims to provide historical context, legal perspectives, and space for informed dialogue on Gaza.
