Giddha is a vibrant, energetic traditional folk dance performed by women from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. It is open to all skill levels; these workshops celebrate the vibrant traditional Punjabi folk dance of Giddha. Participants will learn classic Giddha steps, rhythmic footwork, and expressive folk movement in a warm, inclusive atmosphere. The first session runs September 26th from 1:30 PM‑3:30 PM; the remaining sessions take place October 25th and November 22nd, 12 PM‑2 PM, all at TRU Old Gymnasium. No prior dance experience is required, and all students are welcome to experience this joyful folk art form.
