Are you passionate about the role of creative arts in driving political change? Do you believe that art can be a powerful tool for political and social transformation in the society? Are you an artist or an art enthusiast who would want to discuss how creative expressions can help influence political discourses and actions? Do you have any experience or ideas about how art has impacted the political moments locally or globally? Then we would want to hear from you.
On Thursday, November 20, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 13:30 pm the TRUSU Campaigns Committee and representatives from a number of other community stakeholders are holding a small group discussion on the “Role of creative arts as a means of political change” in Kamloops as it pertains to TRU students, staff, and faculty.
This discussion is part of the TRU Students’ Union’s Breaking Bread Series which strives to connect small groups of students and community leaders to have lunch, share perspectives, foster connections, build community and discuss contemporary issues/advantages of volunteering as a student.
