Are you looking for meaningful ways to contribute to the community? Have you found it really challenging to identify the volunteering opportunities that match your interests? Are you unsure of where to start or which organizations to approach? Have you had previous voluntary experiences that were rewarding or ones that could have been better? Do you want to learn more about the benefits volunteering holds and how it can enhance your university experience? In that case, we would love to hear from you

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 pm the TRUSU Campaigns Committee and representatives from a number of other community stakeholders are holding a small group discussion on the Student Volunteering in Kamloops as it pertains to TRU students, staff, and faculty.

This discussion is part of the TRU Students’ Union’s Breaking Bread Series which strives to connect small groups of students and community leaders to have lunch, share perspectives, foster connections, build community and discuss contemporary issues/advantages of volunteering as a student.
