When we come together, we can do more than what we could ever do alone!
The TRUSU NDP needs YOU to come to our events and make your voices heard, so we can create change together. Our forum events give you a seat at the table and enable YOU to directly communicate with activists & decision-makers about the issues that matter to you.
That’s why we’re bringing Local Labour Leaders to Campus to discuss how students can exercise their rights so they prevent themselves from being mistreated in the workplace and find good Union jobs that will pay them a fair wage. They will also give students resources to help them find better job opportunities and know what to look for. The NDP was Co-Founded by the Canadian Labour Congress, which is a group of many unions across Canada, and this event is evidence of the TRUSU NDP’s commitment to our friends in the Labour Movement and all workers.
Join us on Wednesday, March 20, from 7-8:30 pm at the TRUSU Lecture Hall to join students & Local Labour Leaders to discuss how we can have more Good Jobs and how Unions help achieve that goal.
