Federal Budget Consultation

Each year the Federal Government holds country-wide public consultations on the next federal budget. As part of this consultation, the TRU Students’ Union produces a report on the priorities of students and their families in the federal budget. These priorities are submitted to the committee and include a variety of recommendations based on the post-secondary education sector. Provincial Budget Consultation

Each fall, the Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services holds province-wide public consultations on the next provincial budget.
