Do you feel excluded from Thompson Rivers University’s decision-making processes? Have you ever struggled to find clear and timely information about policies, resources, or services for students? Do you believe TRU communicates effectively with its students, staff, and faculty? Have you encountered situations in which a lack of communication hampered your academic or professional development? Then we would like to hear from you.
Join us for an intimate and thought-provoking conversation on “TRU’s Communication to Students.” This discussion will explore the way TRU communicates, what is working well?, what isn’t working well, and how TRU could improve its communication. Together, we’ll share experiences and develop some recommendations.
This Breaking Bread session, hosted by the TRUSU Campaigns Committee and supported by local community advocates, invites TRU students, staff, and faculty to join the conversation. The event will take place at TRU on March 19, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
As part of the TRU Students’ Union’s Breaking Bread Series, this session provides a chance to unplug, connect over a free lunch, and dive into one of the most pressing topics of our time. If this resonates with you, sign up below! Spaces are limited, and registration is first come, first serve.
