The Canadian Women’s Foundation, one of Canada’s largest women’s organizations, is dedicated to achieving gender equity by funding programs that empower women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals while actively working to prevent violence and discrimination.

The Signal for Help is a simple, silent hand gesture that enables individuals to discreetly communicate that they need help. The campaign was developed to provide a safe, nonverbal way for individuals to indicate they are in distress, particularly in situations where speaking out may not be possible. It has become an internationally recognized tool in addressing gender-based violence and fostering community safety.
