We are currently seeking three (3) students who would like to join the TRUSU Electoral Committee to assist in planning and implementing the 2025 TRUSU Board of Directors Election. This is a great opportunity to learn about governance and oversight in the public sector and to assist the Union membership in selecting the students who will represent them for the 2025/2026 Board of Directors Term.

Members at Large on the Electoral Committee must be impartial adjudicators and therefore may not participate in the election or support any candidate in any way.  Committee members will be expected to attend electoral committee meetings, participate in election outreach to promote participation in the election, adjudicate election disputes, and oversee electoral processes with regards to the 2025 TRUSU Board of Directors election. Electoral committee members are paid an honoraria and can expect to work up to five (5) hours per week from February 17, 2025 until March 25, 2025.
