The Thompson Rivers University Students’ Union (TRUSU) is looking to fill job openings for attendants at our Members’ Services Desk for the upcoming Fall and Winter semesters (September 01, 2024 – April 30, 2025). The available positions will have a fixed semesterly schedule with shifts between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and between 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Hours for these positions range from 10 – 20 hours a week based on student availability.
Members Services Desk Attendants will be expected to provide frontline service support to assist students, support the groups that book rooms in the TRUSU Building, and complete regular cleaning when required. Applicants should have previous customer service experience and excellent communications skills.
Interviews will be conducted on August 6-7, 2024, via Microsoft Teams. Successful applicants will be required to participate in a mandatory orientation on August 22-23, and complete at least one training shift between August 24 and August 31. Applicants not available on those dates need not apply.
