It’s that time of year! As students move out of their residences, they often have household items that they no longer need or don’t want to pack up and bring home. To pay these items forward and prevent them from being thrown out, TRU is holding a Residence Move-Out Free Stuff event! On Thursday, April 18 between noon and four p.m., students are invited to drop by the McGill Residence central residence building, the East Village recreation centre, or North Tower lobby and pick up any items they might need. See below for a list of common items found at move-out:

• Cleaning supplies
• Non-perishable food items
• Small appliances (i.e.: lamps, toasters, hot plates, etc.)
• Clothing
• Cookware, dinnerware, cutlery
• Miscellaneous household items

Items left over from this event will be donated to Diabetes’ Canada.
